Conversation是對話的統稱，dialogue專指有臺詞的對話，或者集體或國家間意見的交換，dialogue屬于conversation。
(1) Conversation 對話；交談
I had an enlightening conversation with your father today.
我和你爸爸今天的對話很有啟發性。
John isn&39;t the best at making conversation, but he&39;s a great friend.
約翰不是很擅長和別人交談，但是他是個很好的朋友。
(2) Dialogue（書、戲劇或電影中的）對話；對白
The dialogue is very slow, so I never finished the book.
這本書的對話節奏很慢，所以我一直沒看完。
(3) Dialogue（集體或國家間為解決問題、結束爭端等進行的）對話
Their dialogue centered around their current trade policies.
